In the mid 1960’s after graduate school, Robert worked in the real estate department for Star Market and large box retailer Zayre until 1970.

From 1970 until 1980, Robert collaborated with his former colleague Merritt Lipsky developing retail shopping centers. Ann Moreno joined the company at this time and became an integral part of the business and was ultimately responsible for managing the company until her retirement in 2020.

In 1980 Merritt retired and a former colleague of Robert’s at Zayre, Richard Johnson, joined him. Together, they continued the development of retail properties and added a construction company specializing in meeting the needs of the same retailers they had previously worked for. The construction company continued until the early 2000’s.

From the early 2000’s to present, the business focuses primarily on property management of retail properties and investments.
